Take the stage at the Plant FWD Challenge

We’re very happy to announce a brave new collaboration with Plant FWD 2023. At this 1-day plant-based conference in Amsterdam on April 18, we will bring together startups and scale-ups, investors, future talents, policy- and other change-makers from around the globe to work on creating a plant-forward future together. 

Plant FWD Startup Program

At Plant FWD, we want to continue to evolve the industry by connecting, inspiring, and supporting plant-based startup growth. Amsterdam is one of Europe’s fastest-growing entrepreneurial ecosystems and we believe it is the ideal location for plant-based startups to come together, expand their network, and create new leads! 

Plant FWD and Brave New Food will deliver these startups an amazing platform to showcase their innovative products to the world, surrounded by top investors, corporates, talents, speakers and attendees all looking to discover what's next in plant-based, now. 

Opportunities for startups

In the Startup Program, innovative plant-based startups from around the world are able to:

• Pitch their products on stage and gain the attention from top investors, corporates and policy makers
• Participate in qualitative 1-on-1 meetings with investors & buyers
• Showcase their latest plant-based innovations in the Supermarket of the Future
• Meet fellow start-up founders, share best practices and build valuable connections 

100 best new food concepts

Startups can earn a spot in the Startup Program by participating in the Plant FWD Challenge. A jury of sponsors and investors will review the submitted pitch decks and choose the 100 best pitches. The judges will evaluate pitches on investment readiness, innovative market opportunity, the strength of the business concept/model, and overall wow factor. 

The 10 most promising startups will get the opportunity to pitch their product live on the main stage of the conference. All participants at Plant FWD will have the opportunity to create new collaborations with business partners. All pitching finalists will be announced exclusively in a press release!
